Davis NDE, Inc. is a nondestructive testing, training and consulting company to the nuclear power and petrochemical industries. Mark’s primary expertise is in ultrasonics and digital radiography.

Mark Davis is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He served in the US Navy for over 6 years inspecting nuclear powered submarines. After his naval service, he was the Corporate Inspector for the nuclear power plants for the Southern Company. Over the past three years Mark has conducted ultrasonic training in the Ukraine and Armenian for the Department of Energy (DOE) International Nuclear Safety Program for Chernobyl and the other Russian designed nuclear power plants

In 1998, Birmingham City Engineers asked Mark to perform an ultrasonic inspection of cracks in the Vulcan Statue. Results of acoustic emission sensors, installed in the area of cracking, ultimately lead to the closing of Vulcan Park and the final disassembly of the Vulcan Statue.
